Customer deliveries of the new Radical RXC commence

23rd August 2013

Customer deliveries of the new Radical RXC commenced this week with the first two European cars handed over to customers during a two day track day at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours in France. Both enjoyed fault-free running as the new owners immediately got to grips with their cars' incredible performance and prodigious grip.

Conditions couldn’t have been better to sample Radical’s first closed-cockpit car for the first time and both drivers felt right at home as Radical’s technical and aftersales staff talked them through their new purchases. Within a few laps both were on the pace overtaking far more expensive machinery at the busy trackday including contemporary GT3 and Le Mans machinery.

As current SR8 RX racers both new customers placed deposits for their RXCs before they’d even driven the car, such is their confidence in the performance, handling and reliability of Radical’s products.

“The first words as Thomas (one of the drivers) stepped out of his car said it all, “this car is amazing” was his immediate reaction so we’re exceptionally pleased with the first of many successful handovers,” said Radical Sales Manager Jamie Robinson.

“Over 20 orders have already been lodged for RXCs for delivery into the New Year and we expect this list to grow following the road variant’s appearance at Frankfurt Motor Show and Salon Privé in September.”

Progress towards EC Type Approval for the RXC enabling road registration throughout Europe continues apace with another round of tests successfully passed at Millbrook Vehicle Test Centre this week.
